Modal

Modal is a semi-synthetic cellulose fiber known for its exceptional softness, silky texture, and high durability. It's often referred to as "artificial silk" due to its luxurious feel and drape. Made from beech tree pulp, Modal is considered more eco-friendly than many synthetic fabrics.

Fabric Care Instructions:

1. Washing:
   • Machine wash in cool to warm water (30°C to 40°C) on a gentle cycle.
   • Use a mild detergent without bleach or fabric softeners.
   • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect the surface.
   • Wash with similar colors to prevent color bleeding.
2. Drying:
   • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry for best results.
   • Remove promptly from the dryer to minimize wrinkles.
   • If air drying, lay flat or hang to dry in the shade to prevent stretching and sun damage.
3. Ironing:
   • Iron on a low to medium heat setting if necessary.
   • Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric's surface.
   • Steam ironing can help remove wrinkles effectively.
4. Storage:
   • Store Modal garments folded in a cool, dry place.
   • Avoid hanging for long periods as Modal can stretch.
   • Use padded hangers if hanging is necessary to maintain shape.

Caution:

• Avoid using chlorine bleach as it can weaken the fibers and cause yellowing.
• Do not wring or twist Modal fabrics, as this can cause permanent creasing.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent fading.
• Always check the care label on the garment for specific instructions, as Modal blends may require different care.
